    ECE Force Add/Request Spring 2024

ECE Graduate Courses Force/Add Survey: Spring 2024
This form is NOT for ECE Graduate Students

Click here if you are an ECE student with registration errors

ECE force-add requests are only accepted from those students who are eligible to take ECE graduate courses but were unable to web register in the course during the add/drop period due to issues in HokieSpa (i.e. specific course restrictions, pre-requisites, department requirements, class requirements or any other).  Only available courses are listed, courses not listed are not available for force/add.

The ECE Force-Add survey will close at 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 1th, 2024. Force-Add is on a first come first add basis. If your force-add is approved, you will be notified via email when the course is added. Please do not submit multiple requests for the same course. You may not get an email if the class if full or we are unable to register you.

    Important Notes:
    - Please do separate requests if requesting more than one course
    - Students will not be added to courses that are full on the timetable.
    - Ensure that there are no holds on your account as we cannot lift holds to add a course to your schedule.
    - Ensure that there are no time conflicts with your requested course or CRN.
    - A class cannot be added if doing so exceeds 18 credits, unless you have permission.
    - MIT courses must be added through their program

If you have questions, please contact your department program advisor and please be patient as most force/add requests will not be processed until two weeks prior to the start of the semester (unless you are a UGG Student).
The ECE Graduate Force add form is closed for Spring 2024, no additional force adds will be processed.
